Connecting Montessori stakeholders in Tanzania

The Arthur Waser Foundation supports the network of educators, trainers, parents and other stakeholders in the field of early childhood education (ECE) so that they can learn from each other and assert their common interests. Tanzania is home to around 5,000 Montessori teachers who have been trained at seven high-quality training centers. High-profile government officials at the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Social Affairs recognize the quality of Montessori pedagogy in Tanzania.

The Arthur Waser Foundation supports the networking of various Montessori stakeholders. In particular, AWF works with the national association of Montessori teachers (MCT), which brings together all Montessori stakeholders in Tanzania so as to conduct effective lobbying and advocacy work in the spirit of Montessori.
