Connecting Montessori stakeholders in Tanzania

The Arthur Waser Foundation supports the network of educators, trainers, parents and other stakeholders in the field of early childhood education (ECE) so they can learn from each other and assert their common interests. Tanzania is home to more than 5,000 Montessori teachers, who have undergone a two-year training at one of the seven high-quality training centers. High-profile government officials at the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Social Affairs recognize the quality of Montessori pedagogy in Tanzania.

The Arthur Waser Foundation supports the networking of various Montessori stakeholders. In particular, AWF works with the national association of Montessori teachers («Montessori Community of Tanzania»), which brings together all the Montessori stakeholders in Tanzania so as to conduct effective lobbying and advocacy work in the spirit of Montessori.
