The NGO “Partage Tanzania” with its headquarters in Bukoba in northwestern Tanzania is mainly active in the education sector and is run by a Tanzanian-French couple, Jacqueline Mwombeki and Philippe Krynen. Since 1989, Partage Tanzania has aimed at supporting children and young adults through educational facilities in the children’s natural surroundings. It has been running nurseries, Montessori kindergartens and vocational training centres. In addition, kindergarten teachers have been trained in the Montessori training center in Bukoba since 2007. Beginning in September 2022, six-month postdiploma courses in Montessori pedagogy will also be offered to preschool teachers employed in public schools. The head of the training center is Jacqueline Mwombeki.
