It was founded in 2000 by Arthur Waser and established in his will as his future sole heir. It is politically and denominationally independent.<\/h4>\nThe Arthur Waser Foundation uses its funds in two priority regions and three thematic areas. In the four African countries Tanzania, Ghana, and Ethiopia the foundation pursues an education strategy in close cooperation with African partner organisations, especially congregations.
