Social commitment of the LSO

The Lucerne Symphony Orchestra’s award-winning educational program enables children, young people and adults to have special encounters with the orchestra. Concert experiences are just as much a part of this as workshops with the chance to become musically active and thus part of the seasonal program. The concerts invite you to get to know music of all styles and experience it with all your senses. Whether staged, moderated or interactive, it is always about being able to experience music in all its variety and performance styles. Concerts for people with dementia, projects at special education schools and activities for children and adults with disabilities are also part of the commitment. The Arthur Waser Foundation will support the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra’s social commitment for an initial period of three years from the 2019/2020 season.
